This year in math we will be starting off by assessing where students are and making sure they have the building blocks they need to succeed.  The first few months will look at numeracy and operations, and once the students have a strong understanding of this we can move into the other units like geometry, probability/statistics, and calculating area/perimeter.

We will start at the Grade 4 level and as students start to learn and show their understanding we will increase to the Grade 5 level for the Grade 5's and move forward for the Grade 4's.  Each grade will get their own curriculum assignments and assessments.  There will be lessons on the concepts they need to learn, and then they will be given practice questions and assessments.
